Torquays new nr 11?
Since Nicky Wroe left the club last season the Norway Gulls have been waiting to see who is next to wear shirt nr 11 and being sponsored by us. Anyone used that number during the games against Tiverton or Bristol City?

Sorry to change the subject Eirik-but have any of the Norway Gulls been along to give the ECFC some stick during their tour of your good country?

Norway Gulls were formed on 11.11.1999 11:11 am, when we got the reply from Mike Bateson giving us the OK on forming Torquay United Supporters Norway.ferrarilover wrote:Why number 11 in particular?
Matt.
I don't think so to be honest. Didn't even know they were here. We actually played against their supporters club in a football tournament last year. Lost out on penalties with me missing the decisive penalty...Behind-the-Gulls wrote:Sorry to change the subject Eirik-but have any of the Norway Gulls been along to give the ECFC some stick during their tour of your good country?

£300. Hmm, what's that in real money? ....$500? Might just be a bit steep for me, especially for the next few weeks. That's a shame. I might be able to scrape it together, though. Dunno who I'd sponsor.rickl wrote: I think it is £300.

Do you happen to know what happens if the guy you sponsor leaves mid-season?

I am not sure what happens then. Maybe you get to choose a new player or something. It is quite easy for us since we at any given time sponsor the player wearing shirt nr 11happytorq wrote:

According to wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Morris_(footballer) Morris is number 18.
Formerly dannyrvtufc4life.
That was his number at Chesterfield - I'll bet you he will get the number 11 shirt here (unless he has become attached to number 18!).

I would imagine he will get the number 11 shirt - anyway Joe Oastler already has the number 18 shirt.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe our next preseason friendly will give us some answers
Either way I am looking forward to the season ![Glasses :)](./images/smilies/glasses.gif)

i'm guessing none of the players will know their number until the new kit arrives - will be a little surprise from our fantastic kit supplier Vandanel (opening the box when it arrive will be like watching the euro millions draw)- No.1 Billy Kee, No.2 Zebba, No.3 Kevin Hill.............. 8/
