Thats exactly why I hate the premiership, the fraud, corruption, inside dealings that go on.

If you havnt seen it, then if your interested in football you should.

We came near it with the Roberts affair, my god whats happened to this country, what with the media, politicians and it seems football as well.

The gist of the program was that MANY PREMIERSHIP and Championship clubs have owners who are unknown, and even though its against football league rules the same company or people can own many clubs. You can hide ownership. Bryan Robson said on a hidden camera that football is no longer a sport but purely a business. When you think of Crawley Town, its even coming down to our level, in fact one of the clubs that was available was OXFORD CITY.

Makes you wonder if us fans are just being taken for a ride by greedy business men. mmmmm...... makes you think, what with Sky and al the shit surrounded B Sky B, maybe its time to tell the lot to get lost.

Be interested in ny opinions on this.

With regards the government and politicians, i just get on with my own life and let them get on with theirs. They don't care about me and i don't care about them. All i want is one politician who is prepared to risk his own job and financial security in order to stand up for the people what a politician should be doing anyway) but once they get on the gravy train and realize how better off they are for blending in then there goes their backbone and integrity.

As for football, there is nothing anyone can do about the moneymen ruining and running football. Thats how it is i'm afraid. We've just got to accept it , pay our money and grumble. Or go and watch tennis or something instead. There aren't enough people who give a shit to make a difference. If Sky Sports tripled subscribtion costs tomorrow i reckon most people would still subscribe rather than not and make a protest that will be effective.

Heavy thread though mate and maybe belongs on the other board.

When greed rears it's fat head this always comes to mind . . . . . .

"The following words I ask you to read, for these are the words of instruction :
Be moved my need but never by greed, for greed is the seed of destruction.
Liars and cheats will deceive and accuse for these are their tools of obstuction.
Be selective and observant of friends you choose, for friends are the foundation of construction."

Not mine Andy, that's why they're in bold italic and encapsulated within inverted commas. ;-)
