PREDICTION LEAGUE
I managed to calculate all the results and the league table just before the site went down, so I will be able to put the tables up later.
I have not saved everybodies predictions, however I know if you got 1,2,3,4 or 6 points.
Tables up shortly - lunch calling!!

Just to clarify - the site went down last night, AFTER the cutoff for the prediction league, and therefore you and the other predictor would have missed out anyway.
I spent my evening yesterday, before the site crashed, figuring out the results and the tables and was ready to put them up when the site died. It was a low scoring week anyway for some reason so you will not have lost out that much by failing to predict, but it was not as a result of the site crashing that you failed to do so.

Sorry mate I couldn't get on this site on Friday (pretty sure I couldn't get on it Thurday either) so obviously as I was attending the match Sat was unable to do my predictions.
Surely this is backed up by Louis post in the announcements thread
"What's happened over the last 4 days?"

I think I'm correct in saying that the threads are posted early and wouldn't it be more unfair on those that voted in plenty of time?

If I actually had a life(!) I would have not had a chance to complete the tables last night, as the site would have been down and the results lost.
However - I have done the tables, and I have decided to go with the results this week. I have looked back, and there were five fail to predicts this week. Whilst I totally understand that the site going down is not the fault of the predictor, we try to ensure that the threads go up two weeks in advance in order that people have as much time as possible to post their predictions. In my opinion two weeks is long enough for everybody who wishes to take part, to get their predictions into the thread.
By disregarding the predictions for this week for the five people who didn't predict would be unfair on the remaining people who got their predictions onto the thread.
I appreciate that this may cause some annoyance amongst those who didn't get a chance to predict, I hope you will understand the reasons why I have taken this decision.
Gulliball is happy with the decision that I have taken in this instance.
Please, everybody remember that at the end of the day this is all just a bit of fun and I hope that every continues to enjoy the prediction league.
Should you have any issues please PM either Gulliball or myself.
Thanks,
Scott

Fully understand scott. I only raised the point because you said "the site went down last night, AFTER the cutoff for the prediction league" & " but it was not as a result of the site crashing that you failed to do so" which I assure you wasn't the case for myself. I didn't predict because I couldn't predict (I'm still having trouble logging on now) and then the Crawley prediction selections were named season one week two the same as the rovers week (ie season one week two) so I hope you can understand my point about the confusion. I take your point that there is plenty of time before hand to do these things. But hey ho like you said it's just a bit of fun.
