Fact Hunt

Post by gullintwoplaces »

I checked out comments about the Gulls' magnificent win on the Bristol Rovers forum. The comments were reasonably balanced, so fair play to them. One fan suggested that they all needed to focus on the "Fact Hunt" on Tuesday. I was pleased to see that the Rovers fans were organising some sort of quiz to help them forget. I love a pub quiz. However, I was disturbed to find out that they were in fact referring to the forthcoming Rovers game against AC Northampton tomorrow and particularly to the rotund Gary "Blobby" Johnson who manages the Cobblers. I guess this lack of respect must be due to the fact that he used to manage Bristol City (and Yeovil)?

Not wishing to be outdone, we have a Fact Hunt at Plainmoor on Saturday.

Same could have been said for Howe on Saturday, unfortunately we had one at CB....

Johnsons days at Yeovil, and in particular his time-wasting and dirty tactics against us, really stands out rather than his time at City.

Rene Howe?

2 goals in 2 league games.

That was as much research as I needed to do on our Fact Hunt

The Creepies are still at it! Here's a quote from a post on the Football Forum about the Crawley - Southend match:

'Good result for Crawley and anyone will do well to win there. They looked a strong, organised and highly-motivated team with plenty of talent too. Shame that Evans and his assistant keep berating officials for every decision though - they don't need to do that.'

Roll on Saturday....

They do this because they can't help themselves. It is in their nature, which is why everybody loathes and despises them so much. I read a comment on another forum from a chap who had a go at the gruesome twosome during a game. The fat one then complained to a security bod that this fan had insulted the fat one's wife, which he had not. This chap only managed to avoid being ejected by the skin of his teeth. I hope all Gulls fans get on the backs of the gruesome twosome for the duration of the game. Give fatty and cheat a warm Devon welcome.

Paul Buckle seems quite a decent fellow in comparison. 8/

i think my last post got lost.

Anyway I think the chant should be then

Is your wife as fat as you
Is your wife as fat as you
Is your wife
is your wife
Is your wife as fat as you

Wind the buggers up as much as we can, why, becuase they deserve it for being the biggest moaners and cheats we will face this season.

I was hoping that in league 2 the officials would be able to stand up to them, but seems not. So we need to make Plainmoor an uncomfortable and noisey cauldron to try and put them off. Get at the lot of them, up the ante. By the way not in anyway violently but we need to upset them.

Hmm, not so sure about this chant. May be best to focus on the man and leave the poor dear wife out of it. She's probably thinking about a divorce right now.... ;-)
