It's been totally out of our hands and as frustrating as it is for everyone I hope you understand we're pushing as hard as we can for the situation to be resolved. Apologies to everyone and thanks for your patience while we're experiencing these problems..

Yeah. I too am getting very frustrated that every time lately I have tried to get online to make a comment it has crashed, The comment isn't worth making later on.
It always seems to have happened every time we have changed servers. Sometimes I do wonder if it was the Grass seeming greener and maybe we should have stayed with our previous host. if I remember we have changed servers two or three times lately and problems seemed to have happened each and every time we did it. Correct me if I am wrong Dave but it does seem like it. Must be very frustrating for you lot.
Of course all the time it could have been Brucie putting a curse on us because we don;t go a bundle on his negative comments. Or maybe Buckle is trying to haunt us from afar.
Lets all excorsise them lol. Or in Brucies case excercise him.

We changed servers NOT our Hosts.

The reason we changed servers was because the site was running so slowly where it was that people were double-posting and it made trying to deal with spammers almost impossible, so the grass definitely wasn't greener. Once the migration to the new server was complete it ran so much faster and was much easier to perform tasks on.

Our problems are being attributed to faulty hard drives which are less than a month old. Due to some incompetent wrongly labelling the Storage Area Network (SAN) drives the correct drive for us was wrongly identified and replaced, three times. Now that fault has been discovered we're being put on replacement drives. Obviously we can't legislate for brand new hard drives developing a fault similarly with a Technician wrongly labelling our faulty one.

Perhaps I should pop into your shop sometime and see what "advice" I can give you on how to run it more efficiently. ;-)

Servers, hosts, double-posting, spammers, grass, migration, hard drives, Storage Area Network....

The only term I really understand here is grass.

Anyway, you have my commiserations....

The removal men put the dishwasher where the washing machine was supposed to be so your whites are now as shiny as a beer glass ;-)
