8-2
Any one predict that one coming?
...I'm talking about the man utd/arsenal score of course!
I was shocked when I saw the result!
Anyone watch it? Was it really one way? Thoughts?

Arsenal have had this coming. They always look like conceding in every game they play and now without Fabregas and Nasri they can't be relied upon to score enough goals. Chamakh is so poor he should really be playing in the SPL and Bendtner is just as bad and shouldn't be playing at all! Arsenal haven't a hope in hell of finishing top 6 never mind top 4.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Yes, I watched it. No, it wasn't one way, that would be to give Arsenal too much credit. Thoughts: Arsene Wenger ought to thank his lucky stars it was only 8.
United weren't at their best, don't run away with the idea that it was like watching the early '58, '68 or '99 sides, but it was plenty competent.
Arsenal were indescribably poor, in the very little they did.
8-2 does flatter Arsenal somewhat, since they scored with every shot they had. This is excluding the very dodgy penalty awarded to them for a non-challenge on Walcott.
Moment of the day, well, it came from the studio. Mersin offers the excuse that Arsenal are missing 8 first teamers. Gary Neville duly rattles off a list of 8 first teamers who are presently missing for Unuted and looks at Merson as if to say, 'yeah, what's your point?'
Matt.

That was very funny i must admit, thing is worse sides than Arsenal have gone to OT and got better results even if it was a tigth 1-0 loss.ferrarilover wrote:Yes, I watched it. It was a real pasting but if Van Persie had scored the penalty, that would have made it 1-1 with all to play. I still think Man U would have won- clearly the better team - but it just goes to show how small the margins are.tufcbrett wrote: That was very funny i must admit, thing is worse sides than Arsenal have gone to OT and got better results even if it was a tigth 1-0 loss.
