You've got to feel for him. I know it's only reserve team football, pre season friendlies and a JPT game but by my reckoning he has pulled the ball out of the back of his net 23 times in the 5 games (3 v Burnley; 1v Bournemouth Res; 2 v Cheltenham (JPT); 8 v Crawley Res and 9 v Cheltenham Res) he has started so far this season!!! Judging by the comments he made when he signed he is desperate to have another crack at the full time game but those sort of stats make horrendous reading! It seems that Ling isn't blaming him for the last two crushing defeats - more down to shambolic defending it seems - but conceding goals at the rate he has been surely cannot be doing anything for his confidence!

he is a pro and undrstands the blunt atosphere that being a goalie brings - he was broght in as no. 2 and imo is decent backup for olejnik! i think when/if the time comes he will be counted apon!

Agree totally. I was standing behind him as the ninth went in and we had a little word - I honestly don't think he had much chance with any of the goals that I saw today and I would still say that he will make a decent replacement if Bobby O suffered any injury.

Only one game you can really look at is the JPT game where I thought he was more than decent, certainly better than Potter. Reserve football and Torquay reserves in particular eesh, I don't think Cech would enjoy it too much nevermind Ricey!

Ling has said as much on the OS, felt sorry for him.
