I see GJ has lost patience with Jakey Robinson by the looks of it
(and Baz the dance machine as well)

Should probably explain that this is official news on the NTFC OS, but, helpfully, it's only a video interview available to those with Cobblers Player (or channel 5, as it used to be known!)
Matt.

I was led to believe that Jakey was offered a rather large pay packet to sign there, and it has not worked out for him, i should imagine GJ is being forced into clearing the decks to bring new blood in.
Love to see Jakey back here, however cant see it.

I wouldn't have Jake back. He started well, then unless he was playing against Shrewsbury he did nothing.

I wouldnt mind seeing the guy here on loan for a month or so. He was very good for the first few weeks to a month, which im sure where ever he goes he will play hard to get back at GJ. Why not take advantage.
Seriously though i would like him back, Would offer something else as Bodin and Danny are doing well on the wings. I just dont think Tia has got enough to cut it and would rather see someone like Jakey instead coming in. Given that hopfully Lings message to Tai about not scoring and needs to socre best make him get his ass into gear.

Northampton are such a peculiar side. I look at them on paper and I think they're decent, the manager they have has had success at nearly every club he's been at. They've got one of the top budgets, a decentish fan base yet they just can't get any consistency at all. I tipped them to go well this year with Johnson having last season to siphon out the rubbish, thought they'd made good signings but there you go, football isn't played on paper is it.
As for Robinson yep I'd have him back most definitely, can play wide or up front and we aren't blessed with many proven forwards at the club.
