Evening all, just wondered if i may have the pleasure of meeting up with some of you guys for the very first time before the Chesterfield game. As you probably all know i live in Chesterfield and will be walking to the B2NET from my house and through town. It would be great to make my 'baptism' on home soil as it were and if you all turn out to be a bunch of weirdos then i can do one and be home sharpish! I will be accompanied by a friend of mine who is a reluctant Sheffield Wednesday fan but who was born in Chesterfield and lived here all his life. We are both just normal friendly Northern blokes looking for a bit of footy banter and it will be good to put some faces to names as it were. If any of you plan to go to the game and arrange to meet up then please let me know through this thread. Cheers everyone.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
i'll be getting the bus from sheffiled and the derby tup will be my watering hole, superb pub if real ales your thing and only a few paces from the new ground.
