Another chance to play Man Utd in the Cup!
Another chance to play Man Utd in the Cup!
..... but this time for our "kids".
Fantastic draw for them, away to Man U in the 3rd Round - just need to make sure we beat Cirencester at home in the 2nd Round now. Great opportunity for our youngsters - something which they will most probably never get to experience in their football careers ever again - unless they are either very lucky or very successful!

Edit: IT seems likely that the tie won't actually be played at OT - which is a shame for the lads. Nevertheless I would imagine it will be a fantastic experience against what are after all the defending champions! Mind you they (their Youth Team!) are struggling a bit in the League at the moment so you never know! Anyway, I'm sure whatever pitch they play on it will be pretty decent .... (with respect) a step up from Liverton, Bovey etc.

Good luck to the lads. Hope they can beat Cirencester, and get a chance to play at the "Theatre Of Dreams"

I meant the FIRST TEAM Man United in the PROPER FA Cup.

Not only are you a sod Murphy, your Law is too.

Looking it up, i think they play on the training ground at Carrington. They played the Fa youth cup semi at OT but not the ones before. Playing at Carrington would be an amazing chance it self. Play where the likes of Rooney train.

Looking at there home matches all of them were played at Carrington. Still an amazing expereince for them guys.

I've amended the OP accordingly.

No. Apparently it's Liverton, Bovey Tracey, etc.. I don't remember them ever playing at Gigg Lane.tufcbrett wrote:Dont they play at Gigg Lane or am i just wrong. I know they used to.

Doesnt matter where they play the game its a fantastic chance of a dream trip for all who work tirelessly with the youth set up. Dont for get we knocked Norwich out a couple of years ago so is possible and surely now will be a much bigger crowd and hope they do their bit in getting them through it.
However just because Cirencester are not a league team does not mean it will be an easy game. They have an excellent youth set up there and will be pumped up with the news of the draw themselves. SHould make for an interesting evening!!

Let's all get up to Plainmoor Tuesday and support the youth team. They need and deserve a good crowd cheering them on. And they are the club's future. Bargain prices too!
