A Fiver @ Vale Park?

Just read on the Vale website that tickets are a fiver on friday. It doesn't say if that applies to away fans but i'm going to ring them tomorrow to find out and i'll let everyone know tomorrow. Fingers crossed they will 'do a bradford' and it will apply to all. Come on Vale, you know it makes sense!

I believe it is a fiver, Andy. Probably worth checking just to be certain though.

I read this as well when I popped on their site to get directions to the ground. Great if it is as I am going and taking my 3 kids, so every penny saved helps. Especcially as I had already decided I was making a weekend of this one with the kids and booked a hotel before the fixture was changed to the Friday night.

Just phoned PV ticket office, and this offer IS available to TUFC supporters. No need to order in advance, just go to the away end ticket booth and purchase for £5.00. (Free entry for under 9 years old) =D

Thats really good news, and well done Port Vale. See you there. :scarf:

I think it might encourage a few more to go. Problem is, we went to Chesterfield weekend before last. 261 miles for me (Brixham) We now have Port Vale, which is about 229 miles followed by Sheffield 270 miles and all, more or less, in the same area. Anyway, a nice gesture by PV. £5 good value. As long as the mighty Gulls are winning, it's worth it. :scarf:

There will be four of us in my car.

Well, cheaper!!! The kids insisted on a hotel with a indoor pool for the weekend as I am away for xmas! Hotels with pools don't come cheap!!! LOL

Possible matchday thread material, but Vale have scored once in their last four matches and haven't scored at home since getting 3 in the first 26 minutes on the 14th October against AC Northampton.
They weren't very good last year when we went there and lost our clean sheet record (despite winning 2-1) and it seems they have gone downhill since then.

That said, they did beat Bristol Useless and Northampton Town, both "massive" clubs, so maybe they'll do naughty things to little ol' Torquay...

Matt.

Yeah lot of travelling for the hardy Gulls at the mo eh!! Not too bad for me though as Milton Keynes is pretty central to everwhere haha!! =D
