1. Oastler - nothing got past him, simple, consistent and efficient clearing of lines and never ever gave up chasing.
2. Olejnik - nothing really to do apart from the world class save which is why i have given him no.2 spot. Just like we may give a striker motm for an amazing match winning goal, Olejnik made a save that had he not done so we would have lost the game.
3. Lathrope - solid, efficient grafter whose simple use of the ball keeps us ticking over just nicely.
4. Nico - worked tirelessly with and without the ball tracking back like Oastler. Their wingers couldn't create much due to the hard work of our full backs.
5. Howe - didn't have much of a sniff at goal but put in one hell of a shift for a big frontman which pleased me.
Manse didn't get in the top 5 for me for the first time this season, although he was busy and worked hard i just feel the 5 i have picked played better on the day. Worst player was Stevens, after 10 minutes play i wasn't aware he was even on the pitch. It seems when we are under the cosh a bit and nullified as an attacking force he goes missing.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
