Kean out, kean out is still the mantra. Funny how they weren't singing it BEFORE the first Bolton goal went in and if Blackburn scored or even won would the same fans be cheering? Credit to Kean as he stands firm in the technical area taking dogs abuse instead of sitting in the dugout and hoping it will all go away. At the end of the day he is inexperienced and has been given the job, its not his fault for wanting to test himself, i just think that if it were me i would accept defeat tonight (if thats what its to be) hold my hands up and say i am just to inexperienced to cope at this level and resign. I'm sure he could do a decent job at a lower level ( Blackburn have just scored as i'm writing this! and what a surprise the fans are chanting for Blackburn and no kean out chants. Knobs. That said Kean should be intelligent enough to walk away from a losing battle as he will NEVER have the support of sections of the crowd and will always be under pressure.

Horrible set of fans and getting what they deserve IMO.

If ever there was a nothing club, it's Blackburn Rovers. I couldn't point to it on a map, I couldn't tell you what colour they play in,I couldn't name a single one of their players. They're just SO insignificant it beggars belief. Their treatment of the man in charge is nothing short of a joke. There were some chanting for his head before he had kicked off his first match in charge (figuratively), which loses all credibility for all future protests.

I really don't care what happens to either the club, or the manager. I don't think he should lose his job because he is unpopular, but if Kean is sacked or resigns or any other thing, it's absolutely fair to say that I'm confident that fewer than a dozen people will actually care.

Like to point out that I have nothing against BRFC (pipe down at the back, I mean Blackburn, not Brizzle), I say the above with absolutely no malice at all.

Yet another club to make the mistake of getting rid of big Sam, his football aint pretty, but he would have kept them in the premier league.

As for Kean, fair play to him, the more the fan's shout the more he digs his heels in, sort of a big two fingers up.

Their current fans all bought into uncle Jacks buying of the Premiership and hadn't been near the place when they were languishing in the 3rd division in the 70's and 80's. They are like todays Chelski and Man City fans, plastic glory hunters with no connection with the clubs they 'support' through location or family ties (this also applies to ManUre and Theiverpool fans but their glory hunters have been around a lot longer).
Like Newcastle and West Ham, they are a nothing club only a 'giant' in the eyes of the media

Oh and the glory hunter tag applies to me and the 'tash with the Gulls!

Its a bit of a generalisation. I support Torquay but apart from having worked in Cornwall for 6 months, i have 'no connection through location or family ties' to the west country . That doesn't make me a plastic fan. Sure i struggle when some of you guys mention things in your posts only a local would know but i still feel a great connection with the club and fans and nothing can change that in me.

League record P38 W7 D11 L20, Blackburn are nowhere near the worst team in that league but under his 'guidance' they are getting relegated this season. Bloke used to put the cones out at Reading and played for Newbury Town, somehow ended up as manager there. Big Sam sacked when Blackburn were in 11th place and look at where they've gone since.

Behind the scenes its a shambles there and it's not much better on the pitch. With a decent mananger Blackburn might still survive this season.

As it stands they are a club completely in turmoil, no unity and the fans there will NEVER back Kean. Even if they won their next 5 games of which there is more chance of Kimberley Walsh coming round my house and noshing me off than there is of that happening.

The only way Blackburn have a chance is to sack Kean and get a manager the fans might actually back.

You're right though. Even if he did dig his way out of trouble and smashed the top 6 teams, the fans still wouldn't be convinced. He has become a symbol of the inept ability of the club's owners.

The fans' behaviour is shocking though. It's not Kean's fault he's still in a job and he is handling the situation quite well IMO. The supporters should be protesting against the club's ownership, not Kean. They have clearly bought the club as some kind of 'play toy' under the guise of promoting football in India. They need to plow some money into the squad in January, and sack the boss, if they (the owners) are going to save their reputations amongst English fans.

You can hardly be called a 'plastic glory hunter' if you are a Gulls fan Andy.
That tag belongs to fans of the clubs at the top of the Premiershit only who live nowhere near the club they claim to 'support' , never have done and have no family connections ( a thieving scouse grandad, dad or uncle for example-now that IS a generalisation! and a valid one!!! ) who's club they would naturally follow. :-|

Don't worry about that me old mucker. We don't usually bother much when Mat airs his sexual preferences for anything in orange either.

The clue is in there name BLACKburn, so yeah they wear Blue and White
I feel they are being harsh towards the guy, there main problem is that he isnt a big name compared to many in the Prem. They won one Prem League tittle and they now think they deserve the best.

Andy ive got no connections to Torquay or the area. I live in Somerset and Yeovil, Exeter and both Bristols are closer to me than Torquay. I went along with my friend one afternoon when i was younger and really enjoyed the place and the experience. Kept coming back and been a massive fan ever since. I even ditched Man Utd to become a full time gulls fan. (noone understood why but was worth it)

So i dont mind im not supporting my local side, but its in the south west and only a hour down the road which makes it local enough for me.

Perhaps Kean and Buckle could exchange jobs?
