A good article here, with a few good reasons for a little admiration and respect for our Plymouth friends before we thrash them on the pitch Monday, and perhaps down a few pints with them before and after..

Down a few pints with them?!! Are you mental? Its my first Devon derby and from some posters about Argyle / Gulls games at Home Park i will be lucky to get to my car free from any marks caused by bludgeoning, stamping and buggery! :-o

=D I never had any problems, but perhaps you're not an old codger like me. Just remember to hide your yellow favours and put on a green scarf before you leave the stadium.. :~D

Myself and a fellow Gulls supporter are travelling to the game with Argyle fans and we will have a few pints with them before and after the game, in between times sitting with them in the Lyndhurst Stand. When we were last playing Argyle in League 2 I used to have my pre- and post- match drinks in the Far Post Club inside the ground, being signed in by members. Although Argyle have got some neanderthal idiots amongst their support all clubs have and I have never experienced any trouble. The stewards are likely to be more troublesome than the supporters! ;-)
