Sensible management for a happier football club. (from the Paul Buckle training Manual)

Bucks consciously nicked Bevan from us as he thought he was good! Doesn't say much for his judgement of players. The only thing he has got right at Rovers this season is not playing him as a striker and actually leaving him to play in the position he is meant for.

It does rather amuse me that he snatched Bevan and, as much as I like Bevan, we ended up with a much better keeper in Bobby.

With regard to Bevan, Rovers have just signed Michael Poke on loan. Given how Buckle (quite rightly) preferred Poke over Bevan when he was with us, I wouldn't be terribly happy if I was Bevan right now.

Bucks once again proving he doesn't have his own contacts and merely relies on players that someone found for him while he was here...

True but, to be fair, Poke is a good signing, I suppose. Signing all these guys that he's worked with before really does show his relative inexperience, though.

Yeah, i'm not denying Poke is a good signing, but he is simple recyling everything we had here. It's only so long before he ends up looking in his phone book and all that's left is Tyrone Thompson and Jody Banim...

Poking half of Bristol isn't enough for Buckle, he's now given them another Poke.
That truly is taking the Michael.

Honestly Diving, Mark wouldn't play for Buckle if he was the only manager on Earth. For a start, Jo (his fiancee) would almost certainly leave him.
