No source, but Rovers fans seem to think that Colin Lee will be announced as DOF on Monday, with Shaun North staying as first team coach. That'll set the cat among the pigeons, if true.........
EDITED, to add: seems rather far-fetched to me. Would love it to be true, though.

If they retain Northy as any kind of manager, I will forcibly poo myself with laughter. A man I know (who REALLY knows what he's on about) tells me that SN is nothing but a man who puts out those little coloured cones and pumps up the balls. What he knows about being a manager could be written on a grain of rice (although, the same could be said of Buckle, if you ask me).
Matt.

They're severely slagging him off after today's match, which seems a little unfair to me. FFS, he's been dropped in it after Buckle's departure.a
Of course, the massive fly in the ointment that Rovers has in appointing a new manager has to be money. I mean, is it four ex-managers they're currently paying on garden leave now?

Maybe thats Rovers' problem. Why do they automatically assume that the more money they pay a manager the better he will be? Architects of their own downfall. Look at Lingy, he gets paid relative peanuts and has a squad as thin as Kate Moss but look how well he is doing at the moment compared to ( out of work ) Buckle.

sean north, is as previously stated, "a man who puts out the training cones"
ceddy ( long pockets ) munslow, knows more about football,
than mr.north does!
perhaps BRFC may want to poach ceddy, from us!

Whoever comes in to Bristol Rovers now, in three months' time Rovers fans will be calling for his head. It's what they do.

I'd give the job a bash if they gave me £150k a year and a 3 year contract. Even if I get the boot in 3 months, it'd work out just fine.

Same here. We're all laughing at Bucks but knowing his sort he will have been paid off and will rear his pixie head at some other league club soon enough so will only have lost a bit of his reputation as a promising up and coming manager and nothing else. He can probably afford to toss it off for a while and see what comes up (if you pardon the pun!).

I will NEVER forgive Colin Lee for what he did to us, AND he's an ex-shithead too- bastard!

Oh god That day. I was stood/sat right behind that goal and shudder at every one of them that went in. When he came to Torquay I good naturedly had a go at him for it and he laughed and had a chat with me. he well remembers it.
