WOTTON RETURNS
Paul Wotton has signed for Argyle after being released by Yeovil. He was a hero at Home Park with 438 appearances and 60 odd goals then left in 2008 for Southampton and then Yeovil. 34 years of age now though and it's not always good to return. Trojan and others will remember Robin Stubbs coming back to us for a second stint. Apart from that he has managed to get relegated with Argyle in the past, so he may not be the man to stop their stampede towards the BSP. In fact I suspect after Billy Kee on Saturday and that guy Tubbs the following week have him blowing through his ass he could be looking at early retirement before the season ends! ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/wink.gif)

Yep, I was told the other evening at a dinner meeting that he was on his way. Hemmings will likely be next before another announcement ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/wink.gif)

I just hope that the "other announcement" that you refer to is not a white horse on a charger to save Argyle. Their fans do NOT deserve it (well, many of them anyway).Southampton Gull wrote:Yep, I was told the other evening at a dinner meeting that he was on his way. Good move for him, he should bag a few crackers in the BSP next season.

Wotton will find it different than when he was last there.
The Christmas panto season has just ended but one well known panto phrase is never heard at Home Park these days: "They're behind you!"![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/wink.gif)

Argyle fans told at todays fans meeting that a new Player-Coach is being brought in to work alongside Fletcher.
Wonder who it will be?

Sorry got that wrong its actually a "mentor"with loads of management experience they are about to appoint-seems it could be Sean O'Driscoll, who obviously then, doesn't fancy the poison challice that of managing the Gas.
Have also announced the appointment of three new Directors, including a new CEO-two of the new Directors have very impressive credentials indeed.
Also announced a new structure which allows the fans a 20% stake in the club and an advisory role to the Board.
Looks like the Gargs are really starting to get their act together now.

In addition to O'Driscoll, it's not entirely beyond the bounds of possibility that Neil Warnock, easing into retirement in Cornwall, could come in perhaps as a director. With James Brent keeping an even keel financially, Argyle's fortunes could well be about to change. And they beat Burton yesterday!
That 89th minute penalty could be a life saver. 8/
How many
yesterday? 8? 9?
How many
