Spoke to a man in the ticket office this morning at Morecambe and he confirmed that it is pay on the day, cash at the turnstiles for Torquay fans on saturday. It is £18 to go in the seats which are on the end wing of the main stand. For us that were there last season you will remember that we actually didn't do too bad in terms of numbers given the game was played at the same time as this year, mid January. I just hope that they don't do what they did last year and inexplicably cordon off the 3 or 4 rows at the back of the stand. I can never to this day work out what the hell that was all about, if you are going to give us a block then let us sit where we effin like Morecambe! It looks like we are to be denied the use of the Bay Radio terrace behind the goal though as the man i spoke to said it was up to the health & safety jobsworths to make a decision on that and it was dependant on the numbers brought up from Torquay. Reading between the lines i'd be amazed if we were allocated the terrace too but he didn't rule it out. The view of the playing area from the seats is actually quite good though but i would go on the terrace if it was open to us.

The reason you cant go at the back at Morecambe is because they idiotically made it so you cant see the other end of the pitch from the back of the stand I believe. Hopefully they'll give us the terrace this time but I doubt it. At least they let us stand up in the seating though...

Cheers Alex. I didn't know that, that's bizarre! Yeah they were pretty good about standing in the seats last year although i was on the back row so not blocking anyone's view. I'm not holding my breath though about getting the terrace. The cynic in me is thinking that as the terrace is a few quid cheaper than sitting, the more fans that choose to stand will mean money lost to Morecambe. If there is only seating available then they can make £18 off everybody.

Exactly I remember going through the turnstyle last year and asked for standing and just got a blank look...I was at the back of the stand aswell got asked to sit down and said no and told him they should of given us the terrace...Just seemed to agree and wander back again.

How many Gulls do you all reckon there will be at Morecambe? There weren't too many at Macclesfield and i would have thought there will be even less on saturday. Still hope we can all try to create a good atmosphere on what will probably be another cold, wet and wintry Lancashire afternoon.

I'd say similar to Macclesfield really. 200ish. Though hopefully the fact this is our second away game in a row might tempt people who are missing going to games plan to get to this one though. Just hope we get the terrace. If we dont we should shove there 10 fans or whatever low amount it is into the new stand next season. Bit unfair we have to pay £2 extra for a stand we dont really want to go in.
