BBC Goals of the week

More idiotic incompetency from the numbskulls who choose Goals of the Week. After ignoring some of the Gulls' greatest goals this season, they finally chose Mark Ellis's excellent goal against Macclesfield - except that they actually showed Macclesfield's goal! Or did they really intend to show the Macclesfield goal, but put Mark Ellis's name on the caption by mistake?

Either way, the BBC's biggest mistake has been not to employ people who actually know what they are doing.. :@

I take equal displeasure from the selection (on an absolutely random basis) of the team of the week. What exactly are we suggesting Bobby did to be the best keeper in the division. He only made one save of note. Macclesfield only hit the target twice!

Matt.

I am guessing the BBC rate the players in the same way the fantasy leagues do, and then take the player with the most points from each position and stick them in team "Team".

Just because Bobby only made 1 save, doesn't mean that's all he did. I guess they scored him on his over all performance, and he just happened to score more than the other keepers. Don't get me wrong Matt I am not sticking up for the BBC, just adding a possible reason to it.

Either way the BBC have been slipping for ages, especially around the cancelling of the football league show to save money.

Eventually it will end up with SKY and we will end up in the same situation as we did with Sultana Sports chopping and changing our fixtures to please the viewing public rather than the fans.
