Its Gills Vs Southend tonight not Swindon. But a win for Southend would put them three points clear of us whilst a win for Gillingham would put them Seven (I think) behind us with games in hand as there last two have been postponed.

Draw would be ideal really especially if we get a positive result at Cheltenham tommorow.

It is Gills v Southend if you are meaning match tonight.

1-0 Southend. The Old War Horse Liam Dickinson scoring an early goal which puts them three points ahead with a much better goal differance.

And having checked the table were currently 12 points clear of Gillingham more than I thought but they have a couple games in hand.

Don't understand why Southend played on friday night and now tonight? Anyway a draw would be the ideal result but for me a Southend win would be better than a Gills win. I would rather teams above us gain a bit of ground than teams below us, that way we can be hopeful of keeping our heads above water and securing a play off berth. It is the negative and cautious way of looking at it i know but there you go.

At the moment, I'd gladly play Gillingham every week, they're very one dimensional, just humping it forward, this is as bad as watching Rovers/Northampton. Southend already look like they're easing off, sensing a comfortable night against massively inferior opposition.

There playing tonight as its on Sky. I'd say a draw would be the best result we can hope for. But like your way of thinking.

I bet when Sky chose this game however many weeks ago, they thought it would be a real barnstorming promotion clash rather than two teams struggling(ish) for form. I would also wager that they wish they'd send the cameras to Cheltenham for tomorrow.

Gillingham look night and day different from the side that knocked 5 past us. Nouble and Rooney were the difference that day, now Gillingham are just resorting to smashing it long looking for that fat lump Kedwell

I bet they dont with the Champions league back tomorrow. We would never stand a chance to get on tv instead of that. Theres no game in the Prem tonight which left a space for the camreas and that game got choosen to be brought forward.

I should have said we would have got moved to Monday, just like Gillingham v Southend was.

Just on the subject of Gillingham. I'm considering going on the train there for our game in a couple of weeks as i believe the station is just around the corner from Priestfield. Is this the case? Anyone know? Cheers.

The ground is about a ten minute walk away from Gillingham railway station, which is served by trains from London Victoria (every 15mins), Charing Cross (every 30mins), St Pancras and Stratford International (both located on the same line, every 30mins). It is worth noting that the quickest trains leave from St Pancras (journey time around 45mins) and Stratford International (journey time 37mins).

Robert Donaldson provides the following directions; 'Turn left out of the station and follow the road until you come to a crossroads. Go straight on into Priestfield Road. The visitors turnstiles are at the far end of Priestfield Road. Allow ten minutes to get from the station and into the ground'.

To get to the home areas, turn right at the crossroads and then first left into Gordon Road for the Gillingham End Terrace home area, the Gordon Road Stand and the Rainham End. For the Medway Stand or an alternative route to the Rainham End, turn left at the crossroads and then first right. At the far end the road turns right and then left.

Thanks Alex. It would be a piece of p#*s for me to go by train from Chesterfield even it it means having to change at London, a place i am genuinely frightened of!
