ticket restictions & allocations to new stand

apologies meant to post this yesterday ( sunday ) as soon as i found out!

did you know that, 300 season tickets have alredy been reserved & paid for, in the central viewing area, of the new grandstand,
for wait for it, "special guests etc." which i am reliably informed includes, local & national politicians & family members,
local councillors & spouses, westlands school guvenors & spouses, plus a special paid for allocation to accomadate
the guests of both plymouth argyle, exeter city & yeovil town, furthermore it seems that our previous manager mr.buckle has been
allocated 4no.seats for the next 2seasons ( free of charge )
evidently these allocations were a part of the deal that was struck with the F.A.to secure the grant, under their "football in the community allocation requirements"
& has little to do with the club!!!!
" a bit rich i think"

300 does sound rather a lot, but if it means the club gets a new grandstand I suppose there's not a lot we can do about it, except perhaps go into local or national politics..

A joke just like politics but nowt we can do about it. Look at the positives and we have a brand new grandstand like GS says. Doesn't affect me as i will be going in the popside every time i visit Plainmoor from now on.

thinking about it, that might explain why the capacity of the new stand was a couple hundred more than we'd previously thought it would be.

does this mean that the club has sold near to 300 more season tickets than it would normally; surely this can only be a good thing?

No truth in this "story" which I suspect has more to do with the day that it appears to have been contrived........April Fools Day!

no they dont get the revenue!
in fact they have to pay the F.A a levy for each of the allocated seat!
goes towards paying for the new wembly stadium re-development/stadium running costs!

Sorry to spoil the joke, but I know how sensitive some supporters can be on these matters...... also saves me having to reply to dozens of "angry" emails. Decent wind up though!
