Young Farmers
Hi guys.
As probably most of you will know, the young farmers are down in the bay this weekend.
What i want too know is, does any one think they do more harm then good? or just good?
I have nothing against them, but i know in previous years they have completley trashed the bay, and i have had a few run in's with them.
Who knows, it could be a sell out at TQ1 tomorrow if some of them decide to watch the game.
What are your views on them?
Matt

They make their pigs smoke, feed beefburgers to swans, eat infected spinal columns in baguettes because they won't fit in baps and they have 60 foot high chickens in massive sheds and the chickens are scared, they don't know why they are so massive!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

They used to say someone similar about my uncles when they were da'n pit at Askern main.

What's the story with this then, why do we have this tradition of young country pikeys buggering up the town one weekend a year?
Matt.

Wouldn't mind them coming to West Bay if they all look like this.....

Been in the Welfare many a time, walked around the park, and almost drowned in the "pond"!
Is "Annies" Arms still open in Sutton ?

Dunno about that one Troj as i only visit Donny once a week now and don't venture further than The Mallard in Cusworth but i used to go to Annies Arms when i was younger as they did a great carvery, remember it well. As far as Askern goes it has always had a reputation for being a rough area although the pond is a nice feature. Shame about brainless arseholes shooting ducks and other waterfowl with airguns on a regular basis, if i ever caught them i'd bray their heads together! Happy Days!

Back in the day, my younger brother got sent to Askern for his Summer Holidays to spend "time" with our tough pit miner uncle Tom who lived in Instone Terrace. It wasn't a holiday, it was "punishment". When he came back down to Torquay, he was worse !
The Skellow scum only beat him up once. Then after that he learnt respect, toughened up and did the Askern family proud.
It should have been me that got sent to Yorkshire that summer, it was me that got younger bruv in to trouble in the first place !
