euro squad - central midfield

Its getting closer and closer and im sure alot of us have been picking and choosing our squads im interested in seeing what the squad would be if we were to compile our thoughts.

Can everyone please make sure use vote option as I plan to close polls on day of squad announcement and compare the two

It's sad to say the Scholes is still our best and most creative midfielder.

In fairness, that's a bit like Barca, 20 years from now, bemoaning the fact that no one has come in to better Messi. Scholes is a freak, a true exception to the rule, the best English midfielder ever (well, he makes a bloody good case).

I remember a few years back when Barca were really hitting their peak either Xavi or Iniesta saying they'd hate to play in the same team as Scholes because they wouldn't get on the pitch! The guy is sheer class, if only he had the ability to tackle.

Phil Jones would be a defensive midfielder in my eyes as he did an amazing job for Manure there earlier in the season.
