My 'other' is Peter Crouch. Another option, who SCORES GOALS.

Was toss up between him and zamora. Went with zamora as I like his back to goal link play.

Yes I would as I love the thought of Rooney, young and walcott/sturridge surging through from midfield not to mention stevie g or lamps

Crouch, you morons!

Goal of the bloody season runner up to the best goal scored in Premier League history and you aren't taking him to the Euros, what is the matter with you people?

Rooney, Bent and Zamora along with him. Hodgson got wonders out of Bobby when he was at Fulham so an excellent foil for the two highest scoring Englishmen in the last 5 years.

Matt.

Bent would have been a dead cert for me if he hadn't been injured. We need to be taking players playing well, not the ones that aren't playing at all...

Bent hasn't been on form this season (probably because he's been injured!).

We need a big forward, so I chose Holt. He's big and strong and always seems to get on the end of crosses. Would do a good job if asked I reckon.

How can you compare the 2? Holt is the second highest scoring Englishman in the prem, while heskey has a England chant dedicated to how poor he is (5-1 even heskey scored).

If you feel the need to take a beast of a target man that isn't Crouch then it has to be Holt. Holt scores goals, although I do think (and hope) that Matt's post was said in jest...

Sorry, forgot some of our number are incapable of identifying wit without the aid of smilies. Previous post duly amended.

Jokes or not, some people still try to justify Heskey's inclusion in the 2010 World Cup squad...
