Lucky it didn't matter as Crawley won, but bizarrely in the pub afterwards every Hereford fan who'd been at their end said one of their players handballed to prevent us scoring on the line in the first half from one of our close range efforts, even though I haven't heard of any Utd fans at our end who saw it (I certainly didn't), and I personally didn't even notice our players appealing.
A Torquay fan who got in at the Hereford home end also saw it, and said all their fans around him were saying they'd got away with a penalty and sending-off there. Not sure if it was 1-0 or 2-0 at the time, but 1-1 against 10 men who had to go forward looking for 3 points could have seen a massively different result with us possibly running away with it. Must have been a crafty one behind his body that only those behind their goal saw.
PS have to say what a nice bunch all Hereford fans were after the game. Wish them well next season.

Nope, it was their 'keeper, both Diamondgirl and I appealed, but it was their goalie. Bizarrely, he was allowed to wear a shirt which was near identical to that of the outfielders, which is in clear contravention of the rules. I think Cheaty should be docked points for this...
Matt.

Have to say i never saw this. was in the standing section and couldn't see much any way.
You must not of been on the supporters coach then, as we were driving out of the city, a few low life fans thought it would be a good idea to start throwing things at our coach, bare in mind his throw was diabolical and it completley missed our coach and went into the other carriage way.

I thought it was their keeper though my mate reckoned it was handball, but from the other end of the pitch neither of us really had any clue. To be honest I thought at least one of our players was near enough to have put it in anyway but failed to do so.
