I apologise now if this has already been answered but has the Torquay kit been announced yet or is it still yet to be announced?
As its a bit late in the season

theres a couple threads floating about on kits
one says that the new away one is to be announced for next season
the other that vandanel are gonna be replaced, nothing official on either, but i guess a new manufacturer will mean all three kits being redesigned
never been a fan of vandanel so i'm hoping the latter case is true?!
i guess a good unofficial indicator would be if they're reduced in the club shop at the moment?

a quick check reveals that they are out of stock of all sizes of the current home kit and they only have M and L in the away ones which are £22.50
i'd suggest that we will have at least two new strips for the start of the next season

Two new strips would be ideal!
Personally not a fan of the current home Kit, or much that Vandanel produce for that matter!
Would be great to go for a bigger name ie Adidas/Nike, even Puma or Kappa would do!

The only update I can give on this thread that I wrote....

Is I have now seen a copy of the letter sent out to all Centre of exellence parents, which quite clearly states that "all" Torquay united FC teams will be playing in Sondico kits next season.
I am presuming by "all" teams they mean the first team aswell, as to why there has been no news on next seasons kits, I have no idea.

Again we are left in the dark during the summer regarding the clubs kit. Will just the away be changing / will both change and who is making the kits?
Twas my Birthday recently and the chance of a potential sale has gone missing due to the fact yet again we are well behind the eight ball on this subject. I wonder how much revenue is being lost in total here and what this adds up to over the years?
Would be nice to get some clarification from the club on what's happening and when regards the kit/s.

the clubs slowly getting its act together both on and off the pitch, but this problem keeps on cropping up every summer, a quick scan thru the club shop shows that the home kit is still available at full price, whilst the black kit is half price and the white one is seemingly not available
i'd be very surprised if we had two manufacturers supplying our kits next season, but i guess theres nothing to prevent it really??
i'm gonna let the club off this summer for not having the kits available to at least view, if not to buy, because of the change of supplier, but next year it needs to be sorted out before the season ends
also are we no longer being asked our opinions as seemed to be the way we were heading a few years back?

i'd assume we'll have a completely new away kit as planned, and if the manufacturer has changed, the home design will be the same as the season just gone, but with the new manufacturer badge/logo. similar to a couple of years back when we changed sponsor - kit was essentially the same, just the sponsor changed (was the white kit if i remember correctly).
as a result, the delay this year may be more acceptable than previous years, if the manufacturer is having to knock out a whole new range, as i imagine it will affect the rest of our clothing too, not just the kits.

Fine - will happily accept that if it is the case but how do we know? Club have been very quiet on this. Surely they can give updates to prevent the frustration which this non-communication creates.
We have heard nothing - zip - nada.
The change of kit supplier is all assumption made from very limited information which was not actually directly on this topic.
This can be easily solved by a quick website update as to what is happening - the club has yet to do this which is poor at best.

totally agree Rich. mine was just an assumption, i could be miles off the mark. some kind of update on the OS would be nice.
