Top 5 tv comedy shows of all time

Post by AustrianAndyGull »

Following on from stevedeckchair's excellent thread regarding albums, i thought i would post this one about tv comedies. Tv comedies only though and not feature films. Mine are as follow

1. Alan Partridge both the travelodge one AND knowing me knowing you
2. Phoenix Nights
3. Bottom
4. Blackadder all
5. Father Ted
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Among others, you missed this one Gloster : Hancock's Half Hour

(don't confuse with Hancox and his half hour at Rochdale in 2005)

Oh dear I stand chastised Troj my ole mucker. How could I forget Hancocks half Hour. a true gem. sadly missed by many. shame the Goons didn't quite make it onto the electric goldfish bowl. I would have beed in seventh heaven then.
I also missed out The "Vicar of Dibley" and one for all Torquay fans. "One foot in the Grave" Victor Meldrew doing his brilliant impression of Brucie!

Glad you said Coupling. That show is brilliant. I still watch the reruns on BBC America and on youtube.
