About the Euros. Safe to say I'm glad as hell I'm not going there, looks like it's going to be mayhem from day one. I knew Polish/Ukranian supporters were pretty crazy, but I didn't know it was so bad.

If you didn't watch, heres the link to iPlayer.

Goes to show UEFA are as inept as FIFA when it comes to giving out tournaments, how on earth is it safe for people to go to places like this?

The thing is Nick, you could find footage from practically any country in the world showing scenes of violence at matches.

There won't be any England fans left to go after they all died in South Africa in 2010 like The Sun told us would happen.

I agree Dave but we wouldn't get fans jumping out of their seats just to lay into a passing Asian and then go and sit back down again to finish their pie would we? It was pretty shocking stuff to see these random attacks actually INSIDE the stadium and everyone just sitting back and not intervening. It wouldn't happen today in England. Eastern europe has major problems with racism in football AND fan violence and countries like Ukraine, Russia and Poland should not be given such prestigious high profile tournaments until their respective authorities can actually show they take these issues seriously and are willing to implement initiatives to try and eradicate this disease. They'll do it whilst the tournament is on and then just as the rest of Europe have forgotten about the Ukraines and Russias, they'll return to normal and start beating the crap out of japanese tourists again and meeting up in woods to smash one another to kingdom come. I think Austria should have the World Cup. 8/

I agree Andy. That was terrible to see. I knew it was bad over there but I didn't expect to see things like that!

I also agree with Austria having the WC. I would love it - in hindsight I should have tried to see the euros in 2008 out there! Would have been amazing (though England weren't there!)

A bit off topic, but I'm hoping to go to France for Euro 2016, nice little ferry from Plymouth. Ideal!
