PSF: Exeter City v Torquay United Tues 31/07/12
Pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening at St James Park (7:45pm).
We beat the Grecians 3-0 at Plainmoor in a pre-season friendly a year ago, with goals from Howe, Kee and Morris. They will no doubt be seeking revenge in front of their home supporters at St James Park, on their return to League Two for the first time since 2009.
So it will probably be a competitive game, when we'll perhaps/possibly be seeing our first team formation begin to take shape for the first time. Anyway, a chance to show the Grecians what to expect when the season proper begins.
This info from the Exeter OS:
FLYBE & STAGECOACH (seating): Adult £12, Concession £6, Under 18 £1.
BIG BANK (standing): Adult £10, Concession £5, Under 18 £1.
There won't be advance tickets for these games so spectators should simply pay on the day.
Nothing on the Torquay OS regarding pre-season friendlies apart from match reports; the site is still far from user-friendly..

I'd give the youth team a run out. Or at least a mixture with a differant formation. Dont want to give too much away for when we face them in the league campaign. Not going to this one. Going to that place once in a seasons bad enough never mind twice for a friendly.

It's strange really, I'm in Exeter that day but can't make it for the game
Give some of the first teamers a run out, maybe trial the possible starting XI for the game against Leicester in a couple of weeks.

In Devon for a few weeks and will be going. Looking forward to seeing our new signings.
Like many I feel we need one good striker then we will really look a competitive team. Just feel still a little lightweight in the goalscoring department.

Will there be commentary on Gulls Player?
"Also, stands aren't sentient."
Do you think this will be a first team 11 or the youth? Long way for me to go and fair amount of money if it is only a training type game.

I think it's the first team tonight, on the OS (actually managed to get to the right article this time!) Lingy said that only Oastler and Halpin are out tonight. Ling also said that fitness is the main aim for tonight's game, so from that I presume it's the first team tonight, like it has been for every friendly so far.

I never miss a chance to see us play at shi**y's ground and even better when we beat them. Hope the boys start like the team did in the second half against Leeds and I would say start with Macklin and give him at least 60 mins and see how he does.
Up the Gulls even if its only a PSF.
