Breaking news, Gary Waddock has just been sacked as boss of struggling Wycombe Wanderers. A bit harsh IMO but there you go.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Not too surprising. Theyve had a poor start to the season so far and Wycombe are one of the teams expected to be up there.

Shame he didn't seem to gel there. He was one really cultured player. I remember his debut for Brisle Rovers as one of a trio signed from QPR on the recomendation of Jerry Francis. He came along with Justin Channing and Andy Tillson. The three of them were the backbone of Rovers for a while. Tillson particularly. They were record signings for them at the time all three costing Rovers close on 3/4 million
