What is it with you and Billy Bodin?
Did he try and get you pissed one night and put something into one of your orifices? Or was it the other way round, and he spurned your advances?
I ask only because you seem obsessed with moaning about the poor bloke. If its not Bodin it's Ling - what do these guys need to do to get you to write something positive about them?
My suggestion - next time you are feeling frustrated with either Bodin or Ling, go up to your wife/girlfriend/partner/acquaintance/lover/significant other, thrown them onto the bed and roger them senseless for as long as it takes (I'm guessing seconds), light up a Marlboro and then (and only then) do I suggest posting on the site

First of all Scott - i don't smoke. :~D
Secondly i am not frustrated although when you've got a kid it is often seconds like you say, then years before you get more seconds!
Thirdly, Martin Ling
I have said many times before that Ling is doing a great job as Torquay manager and i still believe that. I am not unhappy with the job he is doing, i am just unhappy with the way he gets us to play football and i feel he can approach games differently and get us to play differently. Overall nobody can argue that he isn't doing a good job, it is steady rather than spectacular but it is keeping Torquay competetive. It is only my opinion but i feel that even with our injuries and suspensions ( which i sympathise with Ling for, i'm not a total cock ) that we have more to offer and perhaps another manager could eke out a bit more from them by adopting different tactics. By the same token i know that another manager could come in and set us back by throwing caution to the wind every week but i just feel that Ling hasn't got the balance right between when to stick and when to twist. It really is that simple. He has signed some really useful players too and always conducted himself in a professional manner so i have no problem with the man himself. I just want a bit more than i'm getting and i don't think i'm being unreasonable to want that.
Fourthly, Billy Bodin
I've seen Billy on top form and he undoubtedly has potential but signing him has turned out to be a big mistake. Ok so he is only 20 but he has played for us, Crewe, Swindon and others in the previous two or three seasons so he should know what league 2 is all about now and what is expected of him and it irks me when people make excuses for consistently poor performances and poor goals return because he is young. Raheem Stirling is young and he is playing for Liverpool, if he struggled like Billy has for us then you could understand it. Billy is struggling for form IN LEAGUE 2! My sympathy goes out the window on this i'm afraid. He is a grown man, he has a few years league football under his belt and now is the time to get showing something on a consistent basis, not a flick here and a turn there and bemoaning shots that hit the woodwork. Not good enough for me. He needs to get involved in the games, get some confidence back and show us some of what we know he has. How long are we going to give him for f*cks sake?! I think it's a joke. He needs to begin playing and offering us more or he can leave. Again, i feel it is a reasoned and valid argument as to why i don't want Bodin in the team.
Anymore Scott? 8/
