But, to be fair to Girlwriteswhat, she says she does try to keep her videos as short as possible. Although the latest one is 43 minutes long..!! I prefer to watch the videos, even though it's quicker to read the blogs. The truth is in there...
That said, here's what somebody wrote among the comments to one of her videos:
'Explaining an idea, then exhibiting all the data supporting that idea, while rebutting opposing ideas, can't be accomplished in a 5min video. We live in a world of sound bites and news clips, used to getting info in 30sec bursts, anything longer and we tune out. GWW does a great job avoiding this phenomena by dividing videos into segments, each segment can nearly stand on it's own, but ties in with the overall topic. This probably contributes greatly to her comparative popularity.'
