How to Win an Aston

Did wonder if this should have been put in Old Gulls section but never mind.
Just seen and article in a newspaper where the Chairman was so bowled over my Mansfields 5-0 win a week ago that he made a bet with his Manager that if they scored 5 before half time he would give him an Aston Martin. Now if ever there was a challenge.
I suspect he thought it would be a fairly safe bet. After all, how many teams can do that two matches running. chairman goes off to Ireland and isn't due back until half way through the next match.
Mansfields match turned out to be a real humdinger. The were 4-1 up in last weekends match by halftime with two goals by Matt Green who we know well. with two minutes to go to half time their man put them 5 - 1 up. Bet won.
They finished the match up winning 8-1
True to form the Chairman put his hand in pocket and now said manager drives round in a very nice 3 year old Aston Martin DB9. ok for some. Good on him though for keeping his promise.

If the Gulls ever score five before half-time, I'll buy the manager an Aston Martin, even if it's only a Matchbox car..!! =D
