No. Neither side would have taken it too seriously anyway, but playing it 4 days before both sides have a vital game to stay in the league is nonsensical.

It will be a glorified youth game with no first team players involved.

Isn't it called The Devon Professional Bowl? And I thought clubs are supposed to play their strongest teams? Still, it does seem nonsensical to play it this week instead of next.

So presumably the FA insists upon it.. :(

""United are expected to send a mixture of young pros and youth-team players to Plymouth for the game.""

Could be a chance to watch Danny Stevens play!!!

Actually not a bad team, though I'd love to see more of a 4-2-4 formation.

I'm not saying it will be a 4-5-1 but with the players available I thought they may line up like this, but they may push macklin up top to go 4-4-2

I've been told rice won't be in the team, I'm helping out there due to this being a DEVON FA competition officially.

You have to think also a lot of the 2nd year u18 have been released

They have been released but Geoff has said that as they played in previous rounds it would be nice for them to take part and they all agreed.

One of the players told me today that this is the squad that was put up. There may be one or two last minute changes.

I suspect, Gulli, that the likely line-up is not the reason you're not going.

Guess I'll be there on my own then...

Matt.

I can only go with what I have been told as soon as I was told otherwise I gladly retracted it but I was spot on with the rest of the team, and also about all the released youth team players being on the bench :)
