Most likely means a reprieve for Stockport. Bet they're thanking their lucky stars!

Hope the Shots pull through.

The BSP won't accept a side in admin, so chances are if they survive the Shots will go straight through.

I think that's right, anyway! Sad times for Shots fans though.

That's a real shame for Aldershot. Here's hoping they can get out of it and we'll see them back in league football again.

I thought that the condition of the 2-up, 2-down deal with the conference was that they HAD to accept a club relegated from L2? Hence why Chester managed to start the season the year they went out of business.

Although, I think Boston went straight through the same year we went down so there is precedent.

Sad times - always had a lot of time for Aldershot as a club.

Wait, is this the Aldershot Town formed in 1992 as a result of the OLD Aldershot FC that went bust........

Glad to see lessons have been learnt.

Oh wait..........

The "Conference" includes 3 leagues. BSP/BSS/BSN. So any club relegated from League two in admin can be placed straight into BSS/BSN.

That's what i've always thought anyway. :keepie:

I don't think it's being in admin per se that the Conference don't accept, it depends on the terms of the CVA judging from this piece on Boston.

Always loved going to Aldershot. A very old school ground and a great vocal support. I really hope they can recover and make it back into the league again.

Keep going Aldershot.

How? They haven't signed anyone, they can't possibly be paying monster money, if the rent on their pitiful excuse for a ground is more than 50p/week they're being robbed. Where the hell has a million quid gone? How does a L2 side lose almost £2800/day, every day for a year?

Matt.
