If this alleged assualt took place, my only concern would be for the victim, not for whether one of our ex-players was involved, and hopefully those concerned get what is coming to them, however in these cases that does not allways happen.

I'll wait for some evidence that this attack actually exists before getting too worked up. It won't be Mark, for about a dozen different reasons.
Matt.

I'm always sceptical about these kind of situations, they're always far too open for a claim of rape or sexual assault to be made the morning after the night where she was agreeing and it was all part of the fun. I do think footballers often take things too far, but sometimes incidents which would normally be swept under the carpet are brought to media and legal attention because the people involved are footballers, have a bad reputation and have pots of money.

Why are so many footballers so into wiener-fest gang bangs. Back in George Best's day, he had groups of girls all to himself. These days, it seems to be the fashion for a group of lads to share one girl. Who wants that? No one, that's who.
Matt.

Because they've got sh*t for brains Matt generally speaking, otherwise they would be paid for doing something with their intelligence instead of trying to drag unsuspecting hammered 'ladies' down dark alleys. Castration for the guilty is the only solution and save them trying to explain to their daughters in future years that they were once sentenced for forcing themselves on a woman. I'm not sure the daughter would be suitably impressed with that one me thinks. I'm SOOOOOOOOOO proud of you dad! Not.
Absolute filth these players (if guilty).

""As a result of inquiries, five men aged 35, 19, 18 and two aged 24 were arrested in connection with the incident. "Earlier this evening, a sixth & seventh man were arrested in Cheshire, both aged 21 years.""
