Heard a strong rumour that Paul Tisdale is set to leave Exeter to head up Swindon! Exeter have just called a press conference, and he has just become 6/4 for the job. Still just a rumour, but getting stronger!

That really would throw their season into turmoil! Great if it happens!

Anti Climax, just to announce their playing Brazilian side a week after the world cup final.

He has still moved from a big outsider to very much favourite with all the bookies so I would not say this is the last we have heard of this.

Well I thought the same, as the story directly below this on the Express & Echo site was, 'Tisdale now favourite for Swindon Job'. With the story directly above ' Exeter City announce press conference.
Should stop jumping to conclusions

It's fine - you have never said it was confirmed. Still is a big rumour and let's hope it is true!

Tisdale isn't as highly regarded by the scum fans as he once was, in fact many would actually welcome news of his departure.

That is because they are thick as f*ck!
Tisdale has done a remarkable job there on (in reality) a limited budget.

There will be singing in the streets of excretia tonight if true, £200k a year of their budget with a 2 year rolling contract.

betting has been suspended on tisdale joining swindon... and harley has been signed for them while managerless... id rather this didnt happen. they would probably get compo and id prefer them stuck with a weak squad and skint

You forget all the cup run money they banked, plus the transfer fees over the last 5 or 6 seasons. Its only really last season they appear to have had budget problems...

Back-to-back promotions is a wonderful job in anybody's eyes. Remember the season the got promoted from the BSP (that day at Plainmoor will haunt me forever) we raped them off pretty much all the best players at the time and had a massively greater playing budget than them, so it was a remarkable achievement.
Tisadle has out thought us tactically under both Buckle and Ling in recent times (I know last season we got 4 points off them but can we actually say we deserved those!).
It will be a massive loss for them if he goes and a massive upheaval there just before the season starts and with what is known to be one of the smallest budgets in the league this year.
In short - Tisdale for Swindon would be brilliant!
