Today i passed ?????????? Ground

Post by AustrianAndyGull »

Ridiculously pointless thread but i'll reply to myself if nobody else wants to join in.

This thread is to tell us which football grounds you may have passed in your day and it can be non league too.

For example, today I am going to Cleethorpes for the day to build sandcastles and get dysentery and having made this pilgrimage a million times in my life I know I shall be passing Blundell Park, home of Grimsby Town which will be on my left going in. I'll be able to see it in all it's glory (not) so to kick off,

Today I passed:

BLUNDELL PARK

HOME OF GRIMSBY TOWN FC

(cue tumbleweed  )
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Have you tried counselling Andy? :)

I've been too ill to leave my house since Saturday, but if you're going to Cleethorpes you must be almost beyond hope.. =D

Get dysentery? Haven't you got enough already?

It's the nearest 'seaside' place to me sadly but it still takes over an hour to get there. Yes it should be bombed. You don't know how lucky you are to be living down there within a few miles of beaches and the sea!

will you stop being so sensitive? usagullmichigan lives in the USA. In Michigan, shockingly, which means that it's pretty unlikely he'll be driving past any soccer ground in the near future. That's why he was saying "the thread sucks for me" - for him. Because he can't participate.

Crikey. Not everything is about you.

Beat you to it Andy, I did exactly the same as you on Monday, went to Cleethorpes for the afternoon with my ever extending tribe and passed Blundell Park on the way both in and out. :keepie:
'Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with their experience!
