The other day I had a double whammy when it came to medically spherical incidents.

I was just about to get out of the car to pick my daughter up from school and I felt a little lump on the inside of my mouth with my tongue and when I looked it was one of those blood blisters that you often get from time to time so I tried popping it with my teeth - IT GOT F*CKING BIGGER!!!

I tried to nick it with my fingernail and IT GREW AND GREW!!

Finally I took a look at it and it was the size of an Olympic size swimming pool but filled with blood so in desperation I tensed up for the severe pain and clawed at it like a rabid animal and it popped leaving my car looking like a scene from Saw!

Not only that but the other side of my cheek I have a small cyst, it can't be seen with the naked eye but it's there and I reckon my aggressive attempts at medical intervention have aggravated the cyst and caused it to feel really tender and bruised and to be honest, it hammers.

Has anyone had little cysts or had them removed, do you have to go private and are they a health risk. I've had this since birth and occasionally it has been tender but not like this. I heard it is best you get them removed.

Also blood blisters, what do you do when these crop up? I always burst mine and the one I burst the other day left a great big hole the size of Derby in my mouth although it's healing now.

Never never burst a blood blister. If you do it becomes an open wound and may take longer to heal. Your body will heal a blood blister better without such interventions. If a blood blister forms in your mouth, better to put up with the inconvenience for a day or two. If you find it intolerable, try sucking a lump of ice. Common sense..!!

When I saw the title I thought you were going to be talking about your testicles!!
