Twenty years ago today, the 17th November 1993, I went to a game in Cardiff that I will never forget:

Two things happened. In time order, first Billy Bodin's dad Paul missed a penalty that would have taken Wales to the World Cup finals. Second, a terrible tragedy happened when an idiot fired a flare across the Arms Park and killed a poor man sitting ten seats away from me. I will never forget that game, I still shiver at what happened. Sadly the idiot wasn't charged with murder, which he clearly committed.

From what you've described here, he very clearly didn't commit murder at all.

Terribly sad, none-the-less. Are you fully recovered, or do you suffer ongoing affects?

Matt.

Criminal negligence, amounting to manslaughter, for which I trust the idiot was duly charged, tried, convicted and sentenced.
