Is everyone aware of the offer in the Sun?

Don't know the full details yet but there is a token collect offer where you can get 2 tickets for £10 for the match in February

Takes a bit of the cost out to going away.

I would like to point out that as a posh family stand boy I do not read the Sun! I saw the offer mentioned in The Times so have registered on line. (The Times for those Pop side readers is a posh paper which owns the Sun!)

That's ten quid more than I paid first time I went up. **** ing shit hole of a ground, no roof, typical northern weather so we got soaked. They got Mansell sent off, scored in the last second with a freekick awardedf for a dive, beat us 1-0 on a pitch better served as a pig farm. Highlight of the day, 500 Gulls spotting a couple of tight northern bastards stood on a hillock outside to watch the game, queue (correct application?) chants of "IT'S FREE, AND YOU'RE STOOD OUTSIDE."
I was almost disappointed when they didn't go out of business, I **** ing HATE Accrington Shit ley.

Still, back on topic, thanks Mark, good to know.

Matt.

I suppose that match, if any, showed the lack of interest in football.

They let everyone in for free, advertised it a week before, and still the ground was not full!

I will be so embarassed about buying The Sun, I will have to hide it inside a copy of Mayfair!

Remember it vividly.

Took my drum for the first time. You've summed the rest of it up pretty well.
