Titsdale to Oxford?

Exeweb seems to think so:

http://www.exeweb.com/forums/showthread ... e-Thursday

I happen to think that he's been a little bit shafted by City fans. They don't seem to understand that they got to L1 on the back of an awful lot of extremely good luck which couldn't possibly continue.
Yes, they have a decent(ish) fanbase, but the infrastructure of the club (the Board, the ground, their whole set up) isn't good enough to allow them to survive long term beyond the lower reaches of L2.
Without the decade of endless good luck in terms of Cup draws and vastly overblown transfer fees achieved, they would be AFC Exeter playing against the Dog and Duck. Alright, they're a dreadful side this year, but they're broke, it's hardly a surprise and to blame Tisdale seems a bit like ignoring the numerous, very large, elephants in the room.

Matt.

I happen to think Tisdale is a very good manager.

Excretia would be foolish to let him go (despite their obvious troubles this season) and he has been bandied about with plenty of clubs bigger than Oxford.

Unfortunately their forum is down at the moment so I am unable to see what was actually on that link...

It was quite a lot of yacking about how he's obviously a useless manager because they are a massive club at least two divisions below their rightful level (if you'd like to read more of this, try the Northampton board). There's a presser for Thursday, but that doesn't mean anything, because they're playing on Saturday, so that's standard practice. Apparently betting has been suspended on the "next Oxford manager" market.

I agree. Tisdale's a good manager, and those Exeter fans who want him gone should think again. Mind you, if he does go, they could appoint Martin Ling as their new boss..

If Tisdale does go to Oxford today, which seems likely, then I hope that this is the final nail in the Greeks' coffin this season. Down you go, probably with us.
