So there I was yesterday morning at 0630 AM, having the last few moments of lovely, heavenly deep sleep, nearly an hour before I needed to be up, and Mrs Chunky starts nudging me saying "oy have you seen this". Now its not unusual that she is awake and lieing next to me having a coffee when I wake up in the morning whilst watching Daybreak, but she doesnt wake me up at 0630 AM. :|

So, she's nudging me saying "oy have you seen this", and what was it, a feature article on a chicken farm where some of the hens have started laying square eggs! :O

They showed these hens with the square eggs, they clearly showed them to the camera, they had interviews with all sorts of people giving their opinion on this phenomena, assured us its not painful or uncomfortable for the chickens , they even included a chef cooking whilst exclaiming and demonstrating how the eggs were more practical because you could put them on the counter and they didnt roll off. :-/

So, after the nudge and nag I woke with a start - " What, what, what, whats happened! I watched the tv and processed the info, took a minute and said - " You silly cow, whats todays date". She looked pensive and was like " Oh Yeah, cor thats clever innit", to which i replied "F**k off". I tried manfully to get back to sleep, but to no avail, I was a bit cranky and stroppy to say the least for the early part of the day. :@

So an hour or so later Im at work, first job of the day, a lady has Daybreak on and asks me have you seen this, this morning, did you see the chickens laying square eggs.Whilst inside im thinking f**king give me strength, because Im a tired irritable sod, I just gave a little smirky snigger and said "whats todays date? She looked and was like - "Oh yeah, isnt that clever"! :-o

To be honest, they might have got me, especially being tired, but the acting was just so bad and cheesy and it just seemed a bit staged, Chunky was not falling for that one!
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.

I thought Dale Tonge was a bit more of a joke. This was his reaction to getting a contract at a football club - :rules: laughing in shock
