Chelteham players admit they can't be bothered

I hope this hasn't happened at our club but news has broken today which will make many teams look at their players hard and I certainly hope that all players will look at themselves hard.
After Cheltenhams defeat at the weekend which left the manager very sad and angry, it transpired that some of their players admitted they hadn't been bothered enough to put in 100% effort in training. Letting their own colleagues and fans down badly.
To openly admit this to the manager is tantamount to treason in any company. I cannot even begin to think why they would want to commit professional suicide.which this will almost certainly result in.
It has upset Scott Brown that he has come out and spoken to the media about it. He has been described as a guy who puts in 110% each and every day. He rightly feels betrayed by his co called team colleagues.
These players earn huge sums compared to the ordinary man. most of them in excess of 60k per week. Why throw it away? why not at least try hard enough to earn a contract with another club.
It really beggars belief that after the faith that any manager put's in his players they would treat him like that. Why is all I can say. I certainly hope that none of these so called professionals end up at our club. :@

Chelteham and D & R it would seem!

Disgusting really - they are all professionals yet think because they are not involved at either end of things then they have no responsability to those who are.

I just hope everything that goes around, comes around. I would dearly love to see Dagenham finish in the bottom two next season after their unprofessional gift of the game against Northampton. I will keep my fingers crossed.
