I have been a member of this forum for quite sometime now and as I am studying the creative and media diploma(GCSE), I have a few questions to ask you regarding 3D tv and film. If you could complete the following questions, it would be greatly appreciated.

What would you like to see improved in the future regarding 3D?

What is your view on 3D?
A very good idea which certainly makes movies 'stand out' a little more. The only problem is that with many 3D films worrying about the look, the storylines have been forgotten about times (Avatar being a prime example!)

What do you think the future holds for 3D?
Not much as it will seemingly be replaced by 4D (whatever the 4th Dimension is meant to be... smell?) when The Hobbit is released. Once 4D is out, 3D will just end up being fazed out before it every really got to a decent point.

What would you like to see improved in the future regarding 3D?
The ability to watch films without the glasses in the cinema. The big problem at the moment for me is my girlfriend as she is unable to watch 3D films due to her astigmatisms. She only really watches things through 1 eye as she has to replace her own glasses with the cinema ones. If she can watch through her own glasses, she would be able to view through both eyes and not waste the extra £1.50 for the ticket.

As I understand it, when a three dimensional view of a cube is observed, three outer sides are seen and three sides unseen. Dot the visible "Y" in its opposite direction and the inner unseen sides are visible. The view of the cube is now four dimensional.

Fifth dimension ? The four dimensional cube is being viewed from a different angle is it not ? Now transport to inside the cube to view the point moved from.

Still the fifth dimension but now viewed from a different angle. Now how many can view all angles simultaneously while in rotational motion ?

Congratulations, you've attained a level of thought motion not obtained by me.

Einstein was the first to prove that the fourth dimension is time. We proceed through it at a rate relative to our speed, in the inverse of the way we move through the three physical dimensions. The faster one travels, the slower time passes. Thus, were any of us to be sucked into a black hole, we would never actually arrive at its event horizon, since, as our victim was accelerated to the speed of light, time would slow to a standstill, trapping the poor unfortunate in eternal purgatory.
