Who is currently on the Board of Directors??
As the clubs official website cannot be trusted to be accurate and up to date can someone in the know confirm that the following 7 names are the only current directors of TUFC.
Simon Baker
Bill Phillips
Tony Carter
Eric Coote
James O`Dwyer
Brian Palk
James Perry
I believe Andrew Candy is the CEO but is not a director.
I ask this question in view of the importance of decision making at the club during the next 2 weeks.
I am not sure of the status of Kelvin Thomas but no doubt someone in the know can confirm whether or not he remains involved at this crucial time.
I have not included Thea Bristow and Alan Bristow but it may be that they both remain directors until the 30 June.
I am sure I am not alone in hoping that someone can confirm who is actually in charge at Plainmoor. The situation remains extremely worrying for all supporters who have the club`s interest at heart and clarification would be much appreciated, not just by me, but I suspect by many other fans.

I think that 3 of them are Phillips, Perry and Palk.

Thank you MidDevon.
The Club Website still lists Thea & Alan Bristow both of whom resigned as Directors on 7th April.
The current Directors are;
Brian Palk 1994
Simon Baker 2007
Tony Carter 2007
Eric Coote 2007
James O'Dwyer 2007
Bill Phillips 2010
James Perry 2011
It is remarkable how little is known about most of these gentlemen given the fact that between them they have 52 years service to the Club.
Given that the Club has been bleeding money for at least 5 years obviously they do not appear to have much knowledge of finance.
It would be very interesting to know what expertise each Director brings to the Club.
Are they qualified to assess in a professional manner which of the 3 bids made for the Club is the best bid?
It may sound churlish to raise such a question but I believe many supporters are right to question whether the current Board are up to the job or are completely and utterly out of their depth.

I understand Tony Carter is a very very successful business man and has been for many years. Multi millionaire with numerous investment properties and retail businesses. James O'Dwyer is part of O'Dwer properties based in Paignton (son of founder I think). Probably owns over 100 properties mainly commercial but also buys up covenants on on land etc and then exploits them. Never really had to work for a living but has rental income of hundreds of thousand a year. Why they have let Thea pump her money into the club whilst they sit on their hands only they can say.
You understand that, or know that as fact. There sometimes needs to be understanding on forums for the need to be careful want we say and accuse people of. You might just be asked to prove it.

"But at the same time we have at least two other interested parties.
Highlighted the key part in red, as said be others and it's true, there is a whole world of difference between an interested party and an official bid, are there really 3 bids, I'm not so sure that is the case.

There is were misquotes can lead to confusion. This is what Bill Phillips actually said. "They've made a bid. We're waiting for the money to arrive in our account," acting chairman Bill Phillips said.portugull wrote:Are they qualified to assess in a professional manner which of the 3 bids made for the Club is the best bid?

You were never going to have to prove anything to me, in not so many words you accused James O'Dywer of sharp business practises, whilst sitting on his arse all day, and your links prove nothing, just suggesting you might want to be careful in what you actually post, as the next contact you get might be from Mr O'Dwyer himself.
