Don't read the newspapers today.......

Post by Modgull »

.... if you don't want to read masses and masses of crap about Crawley. It's like a waking nightmare to be reminded of the handbagging we were given by Evans, Raynor and co.

It makes me sick that they rather than we are at the hallowed Old Trafford today. :@

The only consolation is that there is also a lot of comment about how 'orrible the manager and his assistant are and how they have bought success :B

Here's hoping they get an absolute thrashing in front of 12,001 fans, a record low turnout for MUFC!

wish it would be a gate of 12,001 modgull but crawley have sold out 9,000 of their tickets that they were given, their reward for being a bunch of cheating scums will be a 73,000 crowd earning them a million pounds

It was nice to hear on the radio someone say that it wasn't really as magic a tie as it should be because of them splashing the cash.

Don't quite think there will be 9000 fans at their next home game somehow. I think its another case of,"ooh lets go and support our local team in the cup cos they are at Old Trafford / Stamford Bridge / Anfield / Emirates but at home to Eastbourne Borough we will not bother". Yeah Crawley don't need the money as much as some clubs but if you are gonna support your home town club then do it when it matters you morons!!! Hate plastic fans and hangers on!!Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Summed up by nearly all of the Crawley fans with their day out scarves, wigs, jester hats and Eric Cantona masks.

laughable.

Whose to say we won't go there later in the season when it actually matters? :)

Can't change the past but we can change the future. Providing the league don't stitch us up it's in our hands effectively.

There shouldn't be any pressure on us, we can play our game and just try to shake up some of the big boys in this league and sneak in the playoffs. Ask Dagenham or Blackpool, once you are in the playoffs, ANYTHING can happen.

Sometimes you have to suffer a bit to enjoy and earn something worthwhile. The Crawley defeat and then 5th round draw hurt our club massively, here's hoping it wasn't the end but the beginning of something special.

Thank god they didn't draw or even worse get a win. Perhaps now we can all go back to ignoring those ignorant people in charge of the Creeps and forget about them................until next season in League 2 - ugh 8-o

Didn't watch the game. Refused to have that crap on my tv. Well, didn't watch any until the 92nd minute, where Crawley were still timewasting, and at the end, Evans and Rayner turned to the 4th official tapping their wrists, as if saying where'd the time go.

The ref had actually played at least 30 seconds more than he should have, so y'know.

Glad their cup run is done with, so the media bumfest can stop about it.

It's the same everywhere else though, Andy. All clubs, even our little one, has 'morons'. Where are the missing 10,000 that were at Wembley against Cambridge?

As for the game, Crawley played very well and deserved at least a draw. Can't stand them and delighted they didn't force a replay, but they did put in a very good performance.

Yes, they were all very good the day they were on £10,000 bonuses win, lose or draw, on a surface like a bowling green against a very disinterested Man Utd third string who never got out of first gear, oh yeah, that'll suit them well in L2, if they ever cheat their way into our division.

Matt.
