According to Braintree Towns fans forum he is signing for us:

What a great signing that would be!

Would be a very good signing if it comes off - he's proven at this level and adds goals from the left wing. Braintree have lost their manager and a few of the players that got them into the play-offs, so perhaps this is a good time for him to leave them and become a full time pro.

Well according to his twitter he is in Florida at the moment? Perhaps nothing more than a fan hearing a rumour and passing it on. Suspect there would be bigger budgets which would offer him more than us. Would love this to be true.

Wow! Great signing. I'm getting excited too! Some bookies are offering 33/1 on us to win the title. Starting to fancy some of that!

But it's weird that we're building a really good team and yet at the same time there exists serious concerns about finance and ownership.

Agreed, there is a danger of false expectation ruling the roost somewhat here. Dave Phillips and the current board do not have the money to run the club, think we all know that, or should do.

These signings are coming from season ticket sales, and G.I who appeared to have already put some money in, the danger is, this season ticket deal will impact on the clubs cash flow through out the whole season that does not need an expert to figure out, so I think they're banking on a good season to boost attendances over and above season ticket holders.

But the real danger here is, and I warned of this a few weeks ago, there are no other investors out there, so if G.I don't complete and ask for their money back where does that leave our club, right now we may not trust G.I, but we need them to complete.

The signing of Dan Sparkes just goes to show what an astute Manager we have in Kevin Nicholson. A really superb signing.

I remember his display when Braintree thrashed us 5-1 at home the season before last and thinking I wish Sparkes played for us!

With Moore signing the news just keeps getting better and better. Well done Kevin.

Quality over quantity is the right way, why pay 7 or 8 benchwarmers when there wages bring in better quality. Just hope we stay injury free. Looking good nicho

Hi Guys.
I to was surprised at the signing but I think there is more to come. Kevins motivational techniques have truly paid of cos the news of the dressing room togetherness has spread. seems top players are willing to sign cos of the amazing feeling in the team and club. its a true testimony of how Kev has galvanised everyone to exceed well above our normal level given a still very very tight budget and they are not even signing on big money. so fill credit to kevin on the affect he himself is and has had on the club.players staff and supporters. makes me real proud to be a torquay supporter at the moment
