Seen a comment on his twitter about going to Weymouth, and Manse had wished him luck.

Anyone know if this is a loan or Bucks has decided to let him go? Seems to have some potential

Won't be permanent, he tears it up in the reserves, he and Saul Halpin are the two real footballers in our youth ranks. Hopefully this is a rest of season loan with a view to his signing professionally next season. Super news.

Matt.

In fairness, just read the "conversation" and it reads:

Palmer: Off to Weymouth.
Manse: Good luck today.
Palmer: Cheers pal.

He might well have been attending a Weymouth match, or a wedding, or a party or a car auction or anything.

Matt.

At the bottom of this story - joined them on a months loan.

Good news then, hopefully he can get some games under him and come back to us at the end of the season and have a good pre season.

Hope Yeoman can as well, it seems in the reserve games he plays more in a midfield role than up front but I think he is a good prospect too.

Anybody think there will be any youth players signing pro deals at the end of this season?

Think this is a good move for Ed Palmer,it will help his development you just cant gain that much from playing a few reserve games here and there, nothing like playing regular football.

Sounds from the Dorset Echo as if he had a bit of a baptism of fire and impressed. Weymouth are likely to want to extend the one-month loan for the rest of the season, which is good news.

this is a positive move for both parties as he get's games and we get back a more experienced player, there is no point in having palmer and yeoman knocking around the in their tracksuits on a saturday afternoon like we all see them most weeks, we can't expect bucks to blood palmer and yeoman when we are gunning for the playoffs we need proven players week in week out, they (i hope) will grow as men and footballers by going to weymouth and come back stronger.
