Re: Torquay vs Bury Match Thread

To be fair, they were nothing like the Northampton fan, he was just a total plank with no respect. The Bury fans on here have been nothing other than positive while remaining polite. That's why we nearly always welcome fans of other clubs on here.

Re: Nicky Wroe on his way!??

I merely quoted the part of your post that I wished to comment on (don't get your nickers in a twist). Perhaps you'd like to quantify the "we" part of your request, are you asking for yourself and merse? Nicky Wroe is on the list as he wants to move up north, his reasons for wanting to do ...

Re: Nicky Wroe on his way!??

I think he's highly valued by the management team and as you said, is only kept out of the side by the excellent partnership of Branston and Ellis. I think we have a more saleable asset in Ellis and I wouldn't be surprised if he moved on when the transfer window opens, leaving the way clear for Char...

NW might be transfer listed to maximise the fee for his services or it might be for a breach of club discipline.

My money is on the latter.

My money is on neither

Re: Nicky Wroe on his way!??

The Bishop "rumour" only started due to a few posters on there using religious words to describe Pope. Someone mistakenly came up with Bishop, but he isn't a realistic target. I never consider the views of fans using words such as "shit", hardly constructive or informative as to ...

Re: Nicky Wroe on his way!??

I'd be staggered if Wroe dropped back to the BSP. ............... - I'd expect to see him at a League 2 rival at the very least. On the money yet again, Jeff. He's definitely better than a BSP player when playing well, and with his personal life happier, I'm sure he'll start to play to his full pot...

Re: Nicky Wroe dropped, injured or..?

Without wanting to make it sound like I knew something I don't, but I did wonder whether personal issues affected Nicky Wroe. Its increasingly rare that a player is willing to make the sort of move (in mileage terms) that Wroe did. Without making assumptions about someone I don't know, there is alw...

Re: Nicky Wroe dropped, injured or..?

I think you'll find it's more to do with the player himself wishing to move back up north due to personal reasons than us trying to cash in on him. That said, I know we've made an offer for a forward using him as bait, I guess we'll all know when the Manager makes public his intentions.

Now now chaps. Let's try and keep things civil, perhaps you'd both like to amend your posts so others don't get the wrong impression of what is afterall, a friendly family site.

Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Crewe vs Torquay Match Thread

Well, it seems that the Manager hit on a formation that can score goals, time for extra defensive training me thinks.

Some of us would have settled for a point beforehand so lets take the positives and move on.

Plus points - we scored three goals
Negative points - we were 3-1 up, Buckle switches things around and we concede 2 goals and cling on to one point.
